Das Jahr 2013 ist nun gleich zu Ende und ich möchte mich bei Euch allen für ein wirklich gelungenes Solar-Fake-Jahr bedanken! Angefangen mit der Tour mit Peter Heppner, danach die großartigen Festival- Auftritte beim E-Tropolis, Dark Munich Festival und beim WGT,vor allem die tollen Reaktionen auf unser neues Album “Reasons To Kill” und den ersten dazugehörigen Videoclip und natürlich auf unsere Fancub- Releasparty mit Welle:Erdball. Nicht zu vergessen der unvergessliche Auftritt in Tel Aviv und die Konzerte mit Covenant in Spanien und zu guter letzt beim Darkstorm Festival vor ein paar Tagen.
Natürlich gab es auch Schattenseiten in diesem Jahr, die vor allem Franks Krankheit betreffen. Es ist sehr schade, dass Frank einen Teil der Konzerte nicht miterleben konnte. Auch wenn die Gedanken bei den Konzerten immer bei ihm waren, ist es natürlich nicht das selbe. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich natürlich bei André bedanken, der so kurzfristig eingesprungen ist und natürlich auch bei all denen, die ihr Mitgefühl ausgedrückt haben, ohne neugierige Fragen zu stellen.
Und jetzt die gute Nachricht: Es geht wieder bergauf und Frank wird voraussichtlich das Konzert in Leipzig wieder mitspielen können. Ob er danach schon wieder fit genug für die restliche Tour ist, kann man jetzt noch nicht sagen, wir drücken die Daumen. Bis dahin wird André freundlicherweise weiterhin einspringen, sodass kein Konzert ausfallen muss, wofür ich sehr dankbar bin.
Ein weiterer Dank geht and unsere Live- Crew, die mittlerweile eine gewisse Stabilität erreicht hat und ohne die die Konzerte nicht funktionieren würden, natürlich unserer Booking Agentur Protain, allen voran Diane, die uns so viele Konzerte wie nie zuvor beschert und unserer Plattenfirma, ohne die das neue und die alten Album nicht existieren würden.
Der größte Dank gebührt aber unseren Fans auf der ganzen Welt! Ihr habt das Jahr 2013 zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht und uns mit Euren Reaktionen so viel positives Feedback gegeben, dass es schwer fällt, dies in Worte zu fassen. Dafür sagen wir DANKE und hoffen, dass 2014 mit den vielen Konzerten genau so toll wird!

SvenThe year 2013 will end in a few hours and I’d like to thank all of you for a great Solar-Fake-Year! It began with the tour with Peter Heppner, the festival appearances at E-Tropolis, Dark Munich Festival and Wave-Gotik-Treffen. Your great responses to our new album “Reasons to kill”, the videoclip “The pages” and our fanclub- release- party with “Welle:Erdball” as our special guest. Not to forget the unforgettable concert in Tel Aviv, the shows with Covenant in Spain and also Darkstorm Festival, just a few days ago.
Of course, there were downsides too, especially Franks disease. It was sad he couldn’t be part of some of the latest shows this year. Even if our thoughts were always with him… it’s just not the same. At this point I’d like to thank André for filling in on such short notice and I’d like to thank everyone who expressed their sympathy without asking inquisitive questions.
And now the good news : Frank is getting better and we’re planning his first appearance on our tour in Leipzig. It’s still hard to say if he can continue then, but we’ll see and keep our fingers crossed. Until Franks complete recovery André will continue playing his part so that no concert has to be cancelled, which I really appreciate.
I’d like to send another “Thank you” to our live crew which has become quite solid, without them our concerts would not be possible; of course our booking agency, especially Diane who booked so many concerts for us as no one ever did before; and our record comany… without them none of our our albums would exist.
Our special gratitude goes to our fans all over the world! You’ve made the year 2013 very special and you gave us so much positive feedback that it’s really hard to put in words. I’d just like to say THANK YOU and I hope that 2014 will also be a great year with all the concerts coming up!
